ITALIAN SUMMER SALAD

An Italian-inspired summer salad recipe made with your choice of pasta, Calabrese salami, prosciutto, bocconcini cheese, black olives and green onion.
All seasoned with a homemade vinaigrette flavored with our Original hot sauce and sun-dried tomatoes.
Allow a resting time of at least 2 hours so that the flavors can infuse well into the salad it is more easy than salad with chicken.
Also add balsamic reduction and fresh basil to taste at the finish for even more flavors.

INGREDIENTS

- 450 g of pasta of your choice, cooked, drained and cooled
- 150 g calabrese salami, roughly chopped
- 125 g prosciutto, roughly chopped
- 200 g bocconcini cheese pearls
- 1/3 cup sliced black olives
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- Balsamic reduction to serve (optional)
- Fresh basil (optional)
DRESSING INGREDIENTS
- 150 ml olive oil
- 10-12 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, finely chopped
- The juice of a lemon
- 25 ml Original hot sauce
- 2 tbsp. tablespoon of white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
PREPARATION
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients, cover and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve with a balsamic reduction and basil to taste.
