1.) Chocolate Fondant Recipe

Not enough to make a feast… However, with 10 minutes in the kitchen, it is possible to prepare many exquisite dishes. Starter, main course, dessert, there are more quick recipes than you might imagine! The proof is in these recipes.


In “Quick Recipes”

Ingredients

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 70 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 70 g sugar
  • 50 g flour

Preparation

  1. Melt the dark chocolate broken into pieces with the butter in the microwave.
  2. Whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens and becomes frothy. Add the warmed chocolate and mix well.
  3. Then add the flour with a wooden spatula.
  4. Divide the dough into buttered and floured molds or into circles lined with baking paper.
  5. Bake at th. 6-7/220° for 7 mins, then leave to rest for 2 mins before unmolding the coulants.

2.) Tender lentils with carrots

Ingredients

  • 400 g of green lentils , French
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 15 g of fresh ginger
  • 25 cl of balsamic vinegar

Preparation

  1. Peel the onions, ginger and garlic cloves and chop them. Peel the carrot and cut it into large cubes.
  2. Saute the chopped onions until they become translucent. Add garlic and ginger, but not too much… otherwise their taste might be distracting. Now add the lentils and carrot cubes. Cover with water and simmer for 30 minutes.

    Now add the not-so-secret final ingredient: balsamic vinegar. Let it cook until the liquid has been completely absorbed. This dish goes with just about anything. And you can’t go wrong with a side of coleslaw…
