How to make pasta with sausage ragù and besciamella sauce

  1. To prepare baked pasta with sausage and besciamella sauce, first make the besciamella sauce.

    In a saucepan, heat the milk over low heat.

    In a separate saucepan, melt the butter.

    Once it has completely melted, add the 00 flour and mix quickly.

    Add the hot milk little by little and stir until it becomes thick, leave the besciamella slightly more liquid because it is our only seasoning for the baked rigatoni.

    Add salt , nutmeg and set the besciamella aside.

     

  2. Prepare the sausage ragù

    Remove the casing from the sausages and cut them into small pieces.

    In a pan, brown the thinly sliced ​​onion together with the extra virgin olive oil.

    Add the sausages cut into pieces and brown them over high heat, stirring often.

    1. Cook the rigatoni in plenty of salted water and drain when still very al dente.

      Place the pasta in a large bowl or in the cooking pot.

      Add the sausages cooked in the pan , the besciamella and a sprinkling of parmesan.

      Mix the pasta with the sausages and besciamella sauce with a wooden spoon.

      Pour it into a baking dish and add more parmesan on top .

      Brown the baked pasta with sausage and besciamella in a hot oven at 200° for about 20 minutes.
